Composition
Each Vita-3 (1) ampoule (1ml.) contains:
- Vitamin B1 100 mg.
- Vitamin B6 10 mg.
Each Vita-3 (2) ampoule (1 ml.) contains:
- Hydroxocobalamin 500 mcg.
To be mixed immediately before administration.
Properties
Vita-3 contains adequate doses of Vitamins B1, B6 and Hydroxocobalamin.
Hydroxocobalamin, an analogue of cyanocobalamin (Vit. B12). is equal to cyanocobalamin in hematopoletic activity.
Because more of it is bound to blood proteins than cyancobalamine less amount is lost In the urine. Consequently. Hydroxocobalamin included in Vita-3 Provides higher serum concentration of Vitamin B12 for a longer period than cyanocobalamin.
Indications & Usage
Vita-3 double ampoules, combining Vitamins B1 & B6 and hydroxocobalamin are of great value and effectiveness in the treatment of the following conditions:
- Miscellaneous neuropathies,
- Trigeminal neuralgia.
- Peripheral neuritis,
- diabetic and alcoholic neuritis, optic neuritis.
- Neuritis of pregnancy, vomiting of pregnancy.
- Radiation sickness, Poor growth and various forms of malnutrition.
Dosage & Administration
One mixed injection Intramuscularly daily or every two or three days.
