Paracetamol tablets (ADWIC) -Analgesic and anti-pyretic

Composition

Each tablets contains 500 mg. acetaminophen.

Indications

  1. Fever and pain.
  2. Influenza, common cold, headache and toothache.
  3. Neuralgia and arthralgia.
  4. Dysmenorrhea.
  5. Musculoskeletal and joint disorders.

Precautions

  • Care with impaired kidney or liver function patient.
  • Care with patients taking other drugs that affect the liver.
  • Absorption may be accelerated by metclopramide.

Dosage

  • Adult: one tablet 3 – 4 times daily, if it is used for prolonged term therapy daily dose shouldn’t exceed 2 – 6 gm. unless the patient is monitored.
  • Children: Above 6 years to 12 years:  half tablet 3 – 4 times daily.

Package

Pack of 20, 200 and 1000 tablets in 2, 20 and 100 strips, respectively, each of 10 tablets.

Storage

  • Store at temperature not exceeding 30°C.
  • Keep in dry place, protect from light.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Medicament is a product which affects your health, and its consumption contrary to instructions is dangerous for you.
  • Follow strictly the doctor’s prescription, the method of use and the instructions of the pharmacist who sales the medicament.
  • The doctor and the pharmacist are experts in medicine. It’s benefits and risks.
  • Do not by yourself interrupt the period of treatment prescribed for you.
  • Do not repeat the same prescription without consulting your doctor.
  • Keep medicament out of children reach.
