Composition
Each orally disintegrating tablet contains : Zolmitriptan 2.5 or 5 mg.
Properties
No-migrainZ® (Zolmitriptan) orally disintegrating tablet that dissolves on the tongue immediatly without the need for additional liquids .
No-migrainZ® (Zolmitriptan) selectively stimulates a subtype of 5HT1 receptor in cranial blood vessels, causing vasoconstriction and decreasing blood flow to both intracranial and extracranial. blood vessels.
Indications
No-migrainZ® is used for the acute treatment of migraine attacks with or without aura.
Dosage
The recommended initial dose is 2.5 – 5 mg tablets . If symptoms persist or return within 24 hours, a second dose may be taken not less than 2 hours after the first dose.
The maximum dose of Zolmitriptan in 24 hours is 15 mg.
N.B.: No-migrainZ® should be administrated as early as possible after the onset of migraine headache.
If a patient did not achieve satisfactory relief with an initial dose of 2.5 mg , subsequent attacks may be treated with initial dose of 5 mg.
