Microfiber Tablets

Composition

Each tablet contain: Protecarpine 600 mg.

Properties

• Microfibre contains Protecarpine which is extracted from wheat bran – retains its quality & does not disintegrate neither in acidic, nor in alkaline environment.
• Its composition is stable and constant.
• It has as primary effects prevention of gastro. Intestinal catarrh resulting from the low intake of dietary fiber & alleviation of the adverse effects of drugs irritating the stomach.
• Other effects in intestinal hypermotility, Microfibe stimulate bowel function & facilitate defecation.

Indications

• Prevention and treatment of gastrointestinal catarrh of various origin.
• Alleviation of the adverse effects of certain gastric irritant drugs.
• Stimulation of bowel function in intestinal hypomotility with or without bloating as well as in individuals susceptible to constipation.
• Adjuvant therapy of haemorrhoids, facilitation of defecation.
• In some cases of obesity.

Dosage & Administration

• Chew 1-2 tablets orally with plenty of water, milk, and juice before breakfast on an empty stomach.
• The preparation should be taken on an empty stomach one hour before other medications. Microfibe may alter the absorption of other medicines.

Box contains 2 strips of 10 tablets each.
