Osteocare formula contains calcium, magnsium, zinc & vitamin D:

Calcium which is a vital mineral for the maintenance of bones and teeth and for healthy muscles and nerves. It is required for vascular contraction and vasodilation, transmission of nerve impulses, intracellular signaling and hormonal secretion. Also it plays an important role in tissue repair.

Magnesium plays a vital role in synthesis of Parathyroid hormone, bone development and essential for the transmission of nerve signals to muscles.

Zinc increases bone mineralization, wound healing, insulin secretion, immune function, cell growth and cell division.

Vitamin D is essential for regulation of Calcium and Phosphate homeostasis and stimulates bone mineralization.

Indications

Dietary supplement of Calcium, Magnesium, Zinc and Vitamin D.

Dosage and administration

One tablet twice daily with meals given with full glass of water or drink.

Precautions and warnings

  • Not to be administered at the same time with Laxatives as it may decrease absorption of Calcium.
  • Calcium supplements are not to be taken in conjunction with antacids.
  • The intake of Calcium may influence the absorption and efficacy of some medicine such as tetracyclines and quinolones.
  • Avoid overdose and prolonged use.
  • Occasionally constipation may occur with high Calcium Carbonate intake.
  • Ingestion of Magnesium salts may cause gastrointestinal irritation and watery diarrhea.
  • Keep out of sight and reach of children.

Osteocare Is Contraindicated In:

  • Renal stones, Hypercalcemia and Hypercalciuria.
  • Hypersensitivity to any of its components.

Composition

Each tablet contains:

  • 1000 mg Calcium Carbonate
  • 400 mg Eq. to Calcium
  • 372 mg Magnesium Hydroxide (359.79 mg as due to 3.3% OD)
  • 150 mg Eq. to Magnesium
  • 22 mg Zinc Sulphate. 7 H20
  • 5 mg Eq. to Zinc
  • 0.2 mg Cholecalciferol (500,000 IU/g)
  • 2.5 mcg Eq. to Vitamin D3 100 IU.

Package

Carton box containing two blisters (Alu/PVC), each of 15 tablets and an inner leaflet.

Storage

Store at temperature not exceeding 30°C in a dry place.
