LIQUIFILM® TEARS Ophthalmic solution (polyvinyl alcohol)

LIQUIFILM TEARS contains LIQUIFILM (polyvinyl alcohol) 1.4% (w/v) as active ingredient in a buffered hypotonic vehicle preserved with benzalkonium chloride and disodium edetate, sodium chloride, sodium phosphate dibasic, sodium phosphate monobasic purified water and hydrochloric acid or sodium hydroxide to adjust pH.

LIQUIFILM TEARS is a sterile ophthalmic solution and each bottle contains 15 ml of the medicine.

Indications

LIQUIFILM TEARS is an ocular lubricant indicated tor the relief of dry eye and dry eye symptoms.

Dosage

Instill 1 or 2 drops in the affected eye (s) as needed or as directed.

Precautions and warning

  • If irritation persists or increases, discontinue use.
  • Keep container tightly closed.
  • Do not touch dropper tip to any surface since this may contaminate the solution.
  • This product contains benzalkonium chloride as a preservative which may be deposited in soft contact lenses. Therefore this product should not be used while wearing these lenses.
  • These lenses should be removed before application of this product and not re-inserted earlier than 15 martin after use.
  • Discard 28 days after opening.
  • Do not use after the expiry date shown on the bottom of the carton.
