Elbavit with Iron syrup- Apex Pharma

COMPOSITION: Each 5ml contains:

  • 10.00 mg Calcium Pantothenate (Equivalent to 0.841 mg of elemental calcium and equivalent to 9.2 mg pantothenic acid ).
  • 25.00 mg Calcium gluconate (equivalent to 2.232 of elemental calcium).  25.00 mg Calcium phospholactate (13% Ca) equivalent to 3.25 mg elemental Calcium.
  •  2.00 mg Dexapanthenol.
  • 0.1962 mg Potassium iodide (equivalent to 150 microgram of Iodine).
  • 1.8 mg Vitamin A Palmitate 1,000,000 IU /gm (equivalent to 1800 IU).
  • 0.40 mg Vitamin D3 1,000,000 IU /gm in oil (equivalent to 400 IU ).
  • 2.00 mg Thiamine HCI (equivalent to 1.783 mg of thiamin (Vit. B1).
  • 2.1605 mg Riboflavin sodium phosphate (equivalent to 1.7 mg Riboflavin (Vit. B2).
  • 2.00 mg  Pyridoxine HCI (equivalent to 1.6459 mg of Pyridoxine (Vit. B6).
  • 0.20 mg  Biotin 100%  .
  • 0.006 mg Vitamin B12 (Cyanocobalamine).
  • 60.00 mg Ascorbic acid, crystalline.
  • 30.00 mg Vitamin E acetate oily (dl alpha tocopheryl acetate) equivalent to 30 IU.
  • 20.00 mg  Nicotinamide.
  • 27.384 mg Ferrous sulfate monohydrate (equivalent to 9 mg of elemental iron).

Inactive: Sorbitol 70% solution, glycerin 99.5%, xanthan gum, tween 20, sodium benzoate, ethyl maltol, pineapple flavor, citric acid monohydrate, sucrose, deionized water.

PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTION

  • Elbavit with iron provides a group of vitamins and minerals which are essential for metabolic activities for all ages and stimulates the formation of blood cells, particularly during the age of growth. It also promotes the formation of teeth and bone and boosts the immune system.
  • Elbavit with iron ensures normal functioning of the nervous system (Vit B complex).
  • Elbavit with iron contains antioxidant (Vitamin E).
  • Elbavit with iron contains Iodide required for formation of thyroid hormone.
  • Elbavit with iron contains Ferrous Sulfate required to treat iron deficiency anemia and prevent vitamin deficiency in pregnancy.

INDICATIONS

  1. Vitamins and mineral deficiency for all ages due to malnutrition or use of antibiotics.
  2. General tonic.
  3. To improve appetite.
  4. To enhance immunity against infections.
  5. To promote growth and formation of strong bone and healthy teeth.
  6. To overcome daily stress and tension.
  7. Ferrous sulfate is used as iron source in iron deficiency anemia and to prevent vitamin deficiency in pregnancy.

WARNINGS

  • This product contains sucrose which must not be used for patients with sugar intolerance.
  • Ferrous sulfate may cause constipation, diarrhea or stomach upset.
  • Avoid if patient is allergic to any of its contents.

DOSAGE

  • Children: 5 ml (one teaspoonful) once daily.
  • Adult: 10 ml (two teaspoonfuls) once daily.

PACKAGE AND STORAGE

  • Store in a dark place at temperature not exceeding 30°C.
  • Carton box contains amber (type III) glass bottle containing 60 ml syrup with (LDPE) plastic ring & PP plastic cap + insert leaflet + plastic spoon.
  • Keep All Medicines Out of Reach of Children.
