Composition : Each 5 ml of liquid contains:

• High DHA Fish oil 640 mg.
• Rigel evening primrose oil 213 mg.
• DL-alpha Tocopherol acetate ( E 1000 EP) 15.65 mg ( Equivalent to 7.82 mg vitamin E ).
• Thyme oil 0.4 mg.

Indications

Dietary Supplement source of fatty acids omega 3 and omega 6. Research has found that omega fatty acids may enhance brain health, promote better sleep, and improve ADHD and asthma symptoms.

Omega fatty acids are essential fatty acids that help feed the brain and keep it healthy. They are part of the process of building new cells — the key to developing the central nervous and cardiovascular systems and helping the body absorb nutrients. omega fatty acids fats also are important for eye function.

Additionally, some research has shown omega fatty acids fats may help manage psychological and behavioral conditions because of their role in neurotransmitter function. Studies in Japanese children have shown fish intake to be inversely related to depressive symptoms. And the anti-inflammatory effects of omega fatty acids fats have also been studied as a potential treatment for conditions ranging from obesity to asthma to upper respiratory infections.

Keep in mind that some of these studies were small and other studies found conflicting results. Plus, the research may have focused on only one type of omega fatty acids fatty acid. More research needs to be done before we will know the full implications of omega fatty acids fats on the body. Always talk with your child’s health care provider before giving them any dietary supplements.

Dose

• Children 2-5 years: 1 teaspoonful ( 5ml) / day with food or drink.
• Children 5 years and over: 2 teaspoonful (10ml ) / day with food or drink or as directed by the physician.

Precautions and warning

• To be used under medical supervision.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• May affect individuals with urinary tract or gastrointestinal inflammation.
• Efalex liquid used with caution in : Hemolytic cases and in individuals with thyroid disorders.
• Should be used with caution in patients with history of Epilepsy, Particularly those with schizophrenia or those taking epileptogenic drugs such as phenothiazines.
• Using during pregnancy, lactation is not recommended.
• Interaction may occur with aspirin, other non steroid anti_inflammatory drugs and herbs such as garlic and ginkgo biloba.
• Those taking warfarin should exercise caution in their use.
