COMPOSITION : Each 100 ml contains:
- Ascorbic Acid 10 g .
- Propylene Glycol 25 g.
- Glycerin add 100 ml.
Action
- Vitamin C deficiency is relatively frequent among children especially the bottle – fed children suffer often from recurrent dermatosis , gingivitis aphthous stomatitis, chronic conjunctivitis and rhinitis . All these symptoms are easily cured by frequent intake of Vitamin C. Also adaptation and resistance to cold are increased in a considerable manner by the intake of Vitamin C.
- CEVILENE provides the easiest way to give infants and children Vitamin C in the most stable form besides being accurately administered.
- CEVILENE drops can be easily mixed with milk, juice cereal preparation or water. It does not curdle milk or clog the nipples of bottles .
INDICATIONS
- For prophylaxis and treatment of Vitamin C deficiency.
- To raise resistance in influenza, cold.
- Severe infection and fever .
DOSAGE
The minimum daily requirements of Vitamin C for babies and infants are :
- Infants : 0.1 ml ( 3 drops approximately ).
- Small children : 0.2 ml ( 6 drops approximately).
Unless otherwise prescribed, dosage will be the following:
- Infants : 3 to 6 drops per 24 hours.
- Small children : 6 to 12 drops per 24 hours .
