Caldin Zinc Suspension- AL ESRAA pharmaceutical Optima

Composition: Each 5 ml contains:

  • Calcium Carbonate (light) 374.61 mg (Equivalent to elemental Calcium 150 mg).
  • Magnesium hydroxide  180 mg (Equivalent to elemental Magnesium 75 mg).
  • Zinc Gluconate 21 mg (Equivalent to elemental Zinc 3 mg)
  • Vitamin D3, oily (1 M.I.U./gm) 0.2 mg(Equivalent to Vitamin D3 200 I.U.).
  • Each 5 ml syrup contains potassium sorbate  10 mg.

Indications

Dietary supplement containing minerals (Ca, Mg, Zn) and vitamin D3.

Dosage

  • Infants (6 – 12 months): Take half(2.5 ml) teaspoonful twice daily.
  • Children (1 – 12 years): 1 teaspoonful( 5ml) once daily.
  • Adults (men and women): 1 tablespoonful (10 ml) twice daily.

Precautions & warnings

  • The intake of calcium may influence absorption, efficacy of some medicines such as tetracyclins and quinolones.
  • Avoid overdose and prolonged use.
  • Contraindicated in patients who have hypercalcimea and hypercalciuria.
  • Occasionally: constipation may occure with high calcium carbonate intake.
  • Has laxative effect in large dose due to presence of sorbitol.
  • Ingestion of magnesium salts may cause gastrointestinal irritation and watery diarrhea.

Carton box containing amber (PET) plastic bottle containing 120 ml suspension with white polypropylene plastic cap containing (LDPE) foam liner + insert leaflet.

Storage

Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.
